First Part
One of the best things I learned in holistic health coaching school is visualizing my life being broken up into different categories. I’ve broken my life into quite a few. This is actually how I approach my monthly vision boarding/hope cultivating check in. By the way – how did that assignment from last week go? What were your insights? I would love to know!
The first thing to note is that areas of life can change, especially for women. Some areas are career, home, environment, education, nutrition, joy, physical activity, health, relationships, social life, finances, creativity, and spirituality. The list goes on. I think these are some of the most fundamental ones that you can then break up into several categories. Others that can be added in can be parenting and caring for family members. You could even create a whole separate one through the lens of your business.

Second Part
Now there’s a way to take these categories of life to the next level. And that is taking the WHYs you discovered from the last podcast episode, and implementing them into your categories. For example, home life. I currently live in an apartment but would DIE for a cozy cottage farm. Someday I plan to have one. In my vision board I outline this light, but cozy cottage feel with lots of ditzy floral prints, primitive french style furniture, and rugs, and English pine. So now I look at my apartment and say, how can I bring those vibes in here and start living that dream NOW?
This is where a little manifestation magic comes in, which I know is not everyone’s cup of tea but you have to admit this is all pretty kismet. Right before my colonoscopy I became OBSESSED with the idea of having a chair in my office to meditate. I just knew I would have it by the end of the weekend (this was Friday). And for those of you into human design I’m not a specific manifestor, all I knew was that I wanted it to be cozy, big, and light creamish. I also wanted a ditsy floral print duvet.
Less than 24 hours later I was picking up a duvet for less than I wanted to pay for it, and up pops a FREE chair on Marketplace: exactly what I wanted.
Manifesting aside, now my office is giving french cottage vibes and I’m HERE for it. Home life area: elevated.
Assignment
So your assignment is: I want you to outline 10 major areas of life that are applicable to you and rate them on a scale of 1-10. Pick an area you didn’t score as well in and create three action steps for improving this area. Bonus points if you connect it back to your vision boards. Refine them around your areas of life and pin them on your wall to ogle everyday and dream about your future like this manifesting freak over here. I’d love to hear all about what you pick!
